Best Bargains in Hesperia Plaza
Located at the intersection of I-15 and U.S. Highway 395. Hesperia is strategically positioned 35 miles north of the city of San Bernardino, 50 miles northeast of Los Angeles County, and 195 miles south of Las Vegas. Hesperia has a population of about 80,000, an elevation of 3,250 feet above sea level, and a land area of 72 square miles.
The Victor Valley Area
Hesperia is growing despite the economic down-turn. In the interim, the High Desert Gateway Center, featuring a Super Target, Famous Dave’s BBQ, Golden Corral and other restaurants and businesses have opened near the intersection of Main Street and Interstate 15 since October 2008. The city of Hesperia is growing up, both literally and figuratively.
Where to go, What to see and do in the High Desert
Victor Valley is home to diversions including shopping, dining, golfing, horseback riding and more, with a dash of local flavor including the annual Huck Finn Jubilee, a bluegrass festival at Mojave Narrows. I love the fact that we can have the beauty of California without the fast pace, It’s not too big and it’s not too small.
Victor Valley is also a day-tripper’s dream, thanks to it's incredible centralized location to all the wonderful things California and Nevada have to offer. Sit at a slot machine or on the front row at a Las Vegas show in three hours. Cruise the California coastline or head to Hollywood in less than two hours. Mickey, Minnie and the gang at Disneyland are ready to play just an hour away, or make the most of the mountains.
